DEUTERONOMY 32:39 See now that I, indeed I, am he! says the LORD, and there is no other god besides me. I kill and give life, I smash and I heal... 2 KINGS 5:10 Elisha sent out a messenger who told him, Go and wash seven times in the Jordan; your skin will be restored and you will be healed; 20:5 …this is what the LORD God of your ancestor David says: I have heard your prayer; I have seen your tears. NEW TESTAMENT: MATTHEW 4:23 Jesus went throughout all of Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of disease and sickness among the people. 4:24 So a report about Him spread throughout Syria. People brought to Him all who suffered with various illnesses and afflictions, those who had seizures, paralytics, and those possessed by demons, and He healed them. 8:6 Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, in terrible anguish. 8:7 Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.” 8:8 But the centurion replied, Lord, I am not worthy to have you come under my roof. Instead, just say the word and my servant will be healed. 8:14 Now when Jesus entered Peter’s house, He saw his mother-in-law lying down, sick with a fever. 8:15 He touched her hand, and the fever left her… 8:16 When it was evening, many demon-possessed people were brought to Him. He drove out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick. 8:17 In this way what was spoken by Isaiah the prophet was fulfilled: He took our weaknesses and carried our diseases. 9:10 As Jesus was having a meal in Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with Jesus and his disciples. 9:11 When the Pharisees saw this they said to his disciples, Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners? 9:12 When Jesus heard this he said, “Those who are healthy don’t need a physician, but those who are sick do." 10:1 Jesus called his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits so they could cast them out and heal every kind of disease and sickness. 10:7 As you go, preach this message: ‘The kingdom of Heaven is near!’ 10:8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give. 12:10 A man was there who had a withered hand. And they asked Jesus, Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath? so that they could accuse him. 12:11 He said to them, “Would not any one of you, if he had one sheep that fell into a pit on the Sabbath, take hold of it and lift it out? 12:12 How much more valuable is a person than a sheep! So it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.” LUKE 10:8 Whenever you enter a town and the people welcome you, eat what is set before you. 10:9 Heal the sick in that town and say to them, The kingdom of God has come upon you! 10:10 But whenever you enter a town and the people do not welcome you, go into its streets and say, 10:11 Even the dust of your town that clings to our feet we wipe off against you. Nevertheless know this: The kingdom of God has come. JAMES 5:14 Is anyone among you ill? He should summon the elders of the church, and they should pray for him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. 5:15 And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick and the Lord will raise him up – and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 5:16 So confess your sins to one another and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great effectiveness.

NOTE:

I created this document after receiving a vision of its creation while praying for a friend of mine who was really ill. I wanted to help my friend in some way, but I felt helpless as there was nothing I could do, but pray. Yes, prayer was the answer, and this prayer document is a good tool for those who are sick, as well as for those who want to help the sick. It utilizes a product already given to us from God, the Bible. I have consolidated specific verses that relate to and will assist us in the healing of our flesh body and soul...based on our Faith, our understanding of how Christ can help us, and our willingness to live according to His will.
