I saw an Army coming
14 Dec 2021
At midnight, as the 14th of December 2021 passed into history, I dreamt of a large group of people that were cowering before an oncoming army of warriors. The people were portrayed in full color and I assumed were from a more current time period.
The Army of warriors that faced them (and me) was completely grey in tone—in their clothing, their armor, their weapons, and their skin—as if made of stone or clay. The nature of their garments was of the BC era; perhaps of the Old Testament period. The lead grey warrior appeared to be looking directly at me. His sword was drawn, his hands—wrapped around the handle of the sword—were near his waist; the blade rose from it and was a foot taller than he. I heard the word ‘Ephraim’ repeated throughout the dream, sometimes said as ‘1st Ephraim.’ In the background, I heard words as if in song, Rejoice, rejoice Emmanuel, O come to me O Israel (I had been hearing those lyrics for two days prior as well). I was wide awake by this time and waiting for more to come but the image faded. But I still kept hearing the word ‘Ephraim,’ and with such emphasis that I leaned up in bed and jotted down notes in a notebook. When I lay back down, there was a man standing before me in a vision. He was pulling on the collar of his purple steampunk-styled cloak—as if straightening it. The jacket was dated 1700s to 1850s metropolis. He said to me, ‘I didn’t realize we had so many differences.’ I replied in the form of a question: I follow God’s rule, and his son, Jesus, the Truth (how about you?). There was no response. I asked who he was and what his message to me was. No response again; the vision of him had disappeared. I had a feeling he was not a light energy being, especially since those of dark energy often leave when I mention Jesus. It was quiet after that.
Purple in the bible might represent royalty and wealth. In the supernatural world it may mean magic, psychic energy or wizard-like activities. That is not who I am, so perhaps this man had come to meet me thinking my energy was like his, and finding out it wasn’t, he left right away. That said, any amount of research on the color purple will bring up a designation that suits your purposes. I only mentioned the supernatural definition because it seemed to fit the clothes he was wearing. I shouldn’t judge. I did feel cautious of being deceived throughout the entire dream and ensuing vision.
My first thoughts—when it was all over—jumped to Revelations but there were no horses. Perhaps the Lord of Armies had come to protect someone; perhaps me? Though I thought the warrior in grey resembled Jesus; it may have been Archangel Michael or perhaps another warrior of past such as Joshua or David. The glow I am familiar with—in the presence of Jesus—was not there, so I was unsure.
In the morning I began to research. The first Google search went to a bible reference, Joshua 5: While the sons of Israel camped at Gilgal they celebrated the Passover on the evening ‘of the fourteenth day of the month’ (Same day of the month)…Now it came about when Joshua was by Jericho, he raised his eyes and behold, a man was standing opposite him with his sword drawn in his hand, and Joshua went to him and said, Are you for us or for our enemies? The man said, No, rather I have come now as captain of the army of the LORD. Joshua fell on his face to the ground, and bowed down, and said to him, what has my lord to say to his servant? And the captain of the LORD’s army said to Joshua, Remove your sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy. And Joshua did so. I have seen stone like imagery before in visions and dreams so perhaps it had been Jesus.
IN researching ‘Ephraim,’ I found (beginning in the Book of Genesis) that he was the second son of Joseph, and named after the word ‘fruitfulness.’ When Joseph brought two of his sons to his father, Jacob, he placed them on his lap as such so the first born, Manasseh would get the first blessing from Jacob. But instead—in short, Jacob gave the first blessing to Ephraim, despite Joseph trying to straighten out the confusion. Jacob said to Joseph: Manasseh will become a people and he, too will be great…but…his younger brother, Ephraim will be greater than he, and his descendants will become a group of nations. After much back and forth in early history, the Tribe of Ephraim did not follow God’s plan, and was conquered by the Assyrians in 723 BCE, and it is now identified as one of the ten lost tribes of Israel. Ephraim did have several sons; the last son named Beriah. Beriah is the direct ancestor of Joshua, the leader of the Israelite tribes. The two historical and biblical paragraphs are somewhat relatable by lineage. Also, there was a civil war, and Jeroboam, the first king of the Tribe of Ephraim in the north, ruled the kingdom of Israel, while the southern part stayed with the sons of David and was called Judah. The tribe of Ephraim was dominant in the Israel of these times. Additional note: Jesus is described as a member of the tribe of Judah.
